Upcoming Initiatives

It is a pleasure of Thane Citizens Foundation to have had your volunteers in assisting us on our previous undertakings. TCF is writing to make another request for volunteers from your esteemed housing society once more , as Thane Citizens Foundation has undertaken another project on waste management issue. TMC has given notices to more than 1000 housing society’s & other commercial establishments asking them to reduce and recycle of waste in their own housing society whose area is more than 5000 sq.meter or generates more than 100 kg. TCF has request TMC to kindly consider their decision not to pressurise the society’s and work out a amicable solution . TCF is trying it’s best to work out a amicable solution & solve the SWM issue.

This initiative requires a lot of workforce in its implementation and support by all housing society’s of Thane. We need your help in this regard and plan a proper statergey. This project will last life long and we need to be careful while taking any decisions.

Thane Citizens Foundation would be most grateful if every housing society of Thane send 2 names from your managing committee. This members will be a decision making body in our waste management committee ward wise & assist in this noble project. Kindly send their name , society name , designation, address , contact details & number of members in your society.
