Today’s 1200 food packets were served by TCF / MGGF / OLMC members to the daily wage workers who were going back to their state. It was a really touching sight to see the way our government officials took great care of them and saw to it that they were comfortably brought to the station in a perfect discipline manner. Veg Pulao Food packets , drinking water , biscuits , mask were given to them before they boarded the train. We could see the happiness of their face and they were thanking the officials for all the support given to them in this difficult time. As a citizens forum we also thank the collector department , Police department , Railway authority’s, TMC department and all who made this mission successful.

As told to us this drive will go on till the end of May. We are trying our best to cater to all the people going from Thane to their respective state. Each train will shuttle 1200 people and 200 – 300 children’s
