“Giving a child a chance to be happy and sharing what you have with a child is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself, as well as a child.”
Though children are synonymous with innocence, purity, selflessness and joy, every child is just not fortunate enough. Instead of celebrating summer camp and participating in shows to show case their talents we, at Thane Citizens Foundation , tried to create a difference to some of the underprivileged children of special children , slum children & orphan children.
Thane Citizens Foundation renowned for helping underprivileged of Thane , has been instrumental in this activity.
Thane Citizens Foundation has experience in supporting and improving the lives of children , women and the elderly by organizing literacy classes , movie screening , activity classes, shows for children . We have been extending medical help for the poorest of poor to treat them in professional hospital . Also extending financial help to the needy.
Thane Citizens Foundation is also well known for helping the Old Age Home and treat the old destitute Hospitals medical treatment on regular basis. This occasion gave us the opportunity to do something for little children and the elderly , so the response and number of volunteers were overwhelming. However, according to rules and regulations of Thane Citizens Foundation we had to keep the team size minimal.
